Summary of Emerging and Mobile Payments vs Cash Afternoon Tea Debate

Posted on Oct 22, 2012 in News, Previous events

For those of you who missed the Afternoon Tea Debate on 4th October on “This house believes that emerging and mobile payment technologies will mark the decline of cash“, you may want to read Dave Birch’s summary on his Consult Hyperion blog. Even his photo was better than mine…. better vantage point! Thanks Dave!

The event attracted a capacity crowd with peer senior level networking.  Many thanks to our debaters Ron Kalifa at WorldPay, Neil Lover at O2 Money, Peter McNamara at NoteMachine and Richard Braham at the British Retail Consortium and of course to our Chair, David Yates at VocaLink.

The next Afternoon Tea Debate will be on 23rd January 2013, so keep the  late afternoon and evening free.  Details will follow.
